Ricorda con noi la tragedia del Vajont del 1963, che causò duemila vittime, con lo spettacolo “Sull’acqua”. Ispirato al racconto di Marco Paolini e Gabriele Vacis, e diretto da Salvatore Tramacere, questo evento toccante è un’occasione per riflettere sugli errori che portarono alla catastrofe.
Alle 22:39, il suono della campana commemorerà il momento esatto del disastro. In Puglia, vari eventi onoreranno il Vajont e altre tragedie storiche locali.

On the Water – Memorial of the Vajont Tragedy
Location: Cloister of the former Palmieri Boarding School, Lecce / Time: 9:15 PM
Join us to remember the Vajont tragedy of 1963, which caused two thousand victims, with the show “On the Water.” Inspired by the story of Marco Paolini and Gabriele Vacis, and directed by Salvatore Tramacere, this poignant event offers an opportunity to reflect on the mistakes that led to the catastrophe.
At 10:39 PM, the sound of the bell will commemorate the exact moment of the disaster. In Puglia, various events will honor the Vajont and other local historical tragedies.

La rinomata pianista salentina Beatrice Rana guida l’ottava edizione del festival “ClassicheFORME”, celebrando la grande musica da camera con una straordinaria varietà di concerti ed eventi unici. Nei suggestivi luoghi d’arte del Salento, prenderanno vita magiche performance create appositamente per l’occasione, sotto la direzione artistica di Rana e accompagnate da musicisti di fama internazionale.
La Romanza dell’Ulivo
Il 16 Luglio unitevi a noi per un evento straordinario che combina la magia della musica con l’impegno ambientale nel cuore del Salento! “La Romanza dell’Ulivo”, a Casamasella nella Fondazione Le Costantine, vedrà la partecipazione eccezionale di Beatrice Rana e un ensemble di musicisti di talento. Composto dal maestro Nicola Piovani, premio Oscar per “La vita è bella”, il brano celebra le radici arboree salentine e promuove la riforestazione. L’esecuzione della Romanza dell’Ulivo sarà affidata a musicisti di fama internazionale come Beatrice Rana, Sayaka Shoji, Kian Soltani, Georgy Kovalev, Liya Petrova, Ludovica Rana, Giorgio Magistroni e Giuseppe Russo Rossi. Il concerto, in collaborazione con la Fondazione Sylva, destinerà i ricavi a un progetto di riforestazione nel Salento.

The Olive Tree Romance
On July 16, join us for an extraordinary event combining the magic of music with environmental commitment in the heart of Salento! “The Olive Tree Romance,” at Casamasella in the Le Costantine Foundation, will feature the exceptional participation of Beatrice Rana and an ensemble of talented musicians. Composed by Maestro Nicola Piovani, Oscar winner for “Life is Beautiful,” the piece celebrates the roots of Salento’s olive trees and promotes reforestation. The performance of the Olive Tree Romance will be entrusted to internationally renowned musicians such as Beatrice Rana, Sayaka Shoji, Kian Soltani, Georgy Kovalev, Liya Petrova, Ludovica Rana, Giorgio Magistroni, and Giuseppe Russo Rossi. The concert, in collaboration with the Sylva Foundation, will allocate proceeds to a reforestation project in Salento.

Festival “NotTe di Luna” – Duo Esse / Cutrofiano
La manifestazione musicale “NotTe di Luna”, giunta alla sua sesta edizione, si trasforma quest’anno in una rassegna grazie alla collaborazione del Comune di Cutrofiano e dell’Assessorato alla Cultura. Organizzata dall’Associazione Culturale “ArtisticaMente in Movimento” e ideata dal musicista e saxofonista salentino Diego Vergari, l’evento mira a portare grandi interpreti musicali direttamente tra la gente, trasformando la piazza in un teatro a cielo aperto.
Il programma di quest’anno promette musica di altissimo livello, con artisti emergenti e affermati nel panorama musicale italiano e internazionale, dedicata alla “musica colta e al cantautorato”. Il 16 luglio alle 21:00, in Piazza Municipio, si esibirà il Duo Hesse, composto da Davide Moretti (violoncello) e Giacomo Maria Gabriele (pianoforte). Il duo presenterà un repertorio suggestivo, inclusa la Sonata n. 3 Op. 69 di Beethoven, Salut d’amour di Elgar e le 4 Stagioni di Buenos Aires di Piazzolla. Festival “NotTe di Luna” – Duo Esse / Cutrofiano
The “NotTe di Luna” music event, now in its sixth edition, transforms this year into a series thanks to the collaboration of the Municipality of Cutrofiano and the Department of Culture. Organized by the Cultural Association “ArtisticaMente in Movimento” and conceived by the Salento musician and saxophonist Diego Vergari, the event aims to bring great musical performers directly to the people, transforming the square into an open-air theater.
This year’s program promises high-level music, with emerging and established artists from the Italian and international music scene, dedicated to “sophisticated music and songwriting.” On July 16 at 9:00 PM, in Piazza Municipio, the Duo Hesse, composed of Davide Moretti (cello) and Giacomo Maria Gabriele (piano), will perform. The duo will present a suggestive repertoire, including Beethoven’s Sonata No. 3 Op. 69, Elgar’s Salut d’amour, and Piazzolla’s The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires. An event that combines history, architecture, culture, and music in a magical atmosphere.
Terra mia – Poesia e musica sotto le stelle
Il 16 luglio unisciti a noi per un viaggio emozionale tra poesia e musica con “Terra mia”, il progetto poetico di Angelo Pellegrino, divenuto ora un affascinante CD con versi accompagnati dalle melodie e dalla chitarra di Rocco Mastrolia. Questo evento unico celebra la connessione profonda tra l’uomo e la natura, la resistenza e la bellezza della vita rurale. Racconti, musica e memoria si fondono per dare vita a una serata indimenticabile sotto le stelle. L’evento avrà luogo alla Corte Pasulu di Borgagne e avrà inizio alle 20:45.

Le orecchiette saranno le protagoniste indiscusse della Sagra dell’Orecchietta, che si terrà il 16 luglio a San Michele Salentino, in concomitanza con la festa della Madonna del Carmelo. La celebrazione inizierà con la messa delle 19:00 presso la chiesetta dedicata alla Vergine nel Borgo Ajeni.
A seguire, apriranno gli stand gastronomici dove sarà possibile gustare la pasta fatta in casa con sugo di pomodoro fresco, basilico e abbondante cacioricotta, accompagnata da un bicchiere di vino locale. Festa della Madonna del Carmine – Gallipoli
Ricorrenza religiosa e civile che si celebra tra il 15 e il 16 luglio. La Chiesetta omonima è il fulcro delle celebrazioni e la festa religiosa è anche l’occasione per vivere momenti di unione e di convivialità grazie a musica, degustazioni e spettacoli.
