From July 20 to 26, immerse yourself in the ninth edition of the “Il Cammino Celeste” festival. This unique event, conceived and directed by the talented flutist Giorgia Santoro, will guide you along the ancient pilgrim paths of southern Puglia. Over seven days of music, culture, and discovery, enjoy free concerts preceded by guided walks that reveal the region’s beauty.

 

 

A Journey Through Music and Territory

The festival invites you to explore the beauties of southern Puglia through an itinerary that touches various locations in the provinces of Lecce and Brindisi: Caprarica di Lecce, Torre Lapillo, Tricase, Sannicola, and San Pietro Vernotico. Each concert will be preceded by guided tours, offering a complete experience that combines art, culture, and nature.

Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21: Caprarica di Lecce

The former tobacco warehouse in Caprarica di Lecce will be the stage for two unforgettable evenings. On Saturday, July 20, at 9:00 PM, the musical trio Yarákä will take you on a journey between the sacred and the profane.

On Sunday, July 21, at the same time, Maurizio Pellegrini, Valerio Fusillo, and Nicola Nesta will present “Nun me scetà,” an unmissable sensory and musical experience.

 

 

Tuesday, July 23: Torre Lapillo

At the foot of the suggestive coastal tower of Torre Lapillo, Alessia Tondo will perform songs from her solo debut “Sita” The event starts at

9:00 PM. Before the concert, don’t miss the guided tour through the paths leading to the Spunnulate of Torre Castiglione.

Wednesday, July 24: Tricase

The Church of the Devils in Tricase will host the Radiodervish with their show “Whith Roots in Heaven” This mystical experience begins at 9:00 PM. The concert will be preceded by a trek on the Via Francigena towards Torre del Sasso.

Meeting at 6:00 PM at the Church of Santa Maria di Costantinopoli.

 

 

Thursday, July 25: Sannicola

The Abbey of San Mauro in Sannicola will be the venue for two performances by Francesco Loccisano and his swing guitar. The performances are scheduled for 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM, with mandatory reservation.

Before the performance, you can join a guided tour along the path leading to the abbey.

 

 

Friday, July 26: San Pietro Vernotico

The festival will close with a performance by Cantiga de la Serena, featuring special guest Enza Pagliara, in the Church of San Pietro Apostolo in San Pietro Vernotico. The concert starts at 9:00 PM.

Before the show, you can explore the Valesio archaeological area and walk the Cammino di Don Tonino Bello. Meeting at 6:00 PM.
