Festival delle Grandi Menti
Il 10 e 11 luglio 2024, Surbo ospiterà il terzo Festival delle Grandi Menti, in memoria dell’ing. Giuseppe Marini. Organizzato dall’omonima associazione, l’evento si terrà nella scuola primaria di Surbo, con ingresso da via Mascagni. Durante la serata, il cortile e le aule del piano terra saranno animate da numerosi laboratori dedicati ai bambini e ragazzi, focalizzati sulle materie STEAM (Scienza, Tecnologia, Ingegneria, Arte e Matematica). Festival of Great Minds
On July 10 and 11, 2024, Surbo will host the third Festival of Great Minds in memory of engineer Giuseppe Marini. Organized by the association of the same name, the event will be held at the primary school in Surbo, with entrance from Via Mascagni. During the evening, the courtyard and the ground floor classrooms will be filled with numerous workshops dedicated to children and teenagers, focusing on STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics). “Le note vagabonde: Un Viaggio Musicale nel Cantautorato Italiano” è un evento musicale imperdibile che si terrà il 10 luglio 2024, alle 21:00, in Piazza Chiesa a Torre dell’Orso, Melendugno. Wandering Notes
“Wandering Notes: A Musical Journey through Italian Songwriting” is a must-see musical event on July 10, 2024, at 9:00 PM in Piazza Chiesa, Torre dell’Orso, Melendugno. As part of the “Blufestival” organized by the Municipality of Melendugno, the show will feature melodies from great Italian songwriters like Guccini, Lucio Dalla, Fiorella Mannoia, De André, and others. Laboratorio di Scultura in Pietra Leccese
Dal 9 al 12 luglio e dal 15 al 19 luglio, nell’Atrio del Castello di Andrano, si darà inizio al laboratorio di scultura in pietra leccese condotto dal maestro Maurizio Toffoletti. La pietra leccese è una varietà di calcare, famosa per la sua malleabilità, la sua facilità di lavorazione consente agli artigiani di creare dettagli intricati e decorazioni elaborate. Questi eventi permetteranno di imparare tecniche di base e avanzate, utilizzo di strumenti tradizionali e moderni, e approfondimenti sulla storia della pietra leccese. Lecce Stone Sculpture Workshop
From July 9 to 12 and July 15 to 19, in the Atrium of the Castle of Andrano, a Lecce stone sculpture workshop led by master Maurizio Toffoletti will begin. Lecce stone is a type of limestone, famous for its malleability, and its ease of working allows artisans to create intricate details and elaborate decorations. These events will teach basic and advanced techniques, the use of traditional and modern tools, and insights into the history of Lecce stone. Tra i crateri e i mari della luna
Il 10, 11, e 12 Luglio 2024, al Parco Astronomico San Lorenzo di Casarano, i visitatori esploreranno la Luna durante il Primo quarto tramite telescopi. Oltre alla Luna, saranno visibili anche Saturno, Marte e Giove, oltre a nebulose e stelle doppie. Il percorso include un tour nel museo del cosmonauta con un frammento di meteorite lunare e spettacoli nel Planetario digitale 3D, in più grandi e piccini saranno accolti da “Martino”, il simpatico E.T. cittadino di Marte, ospite del Parco. Among the Craters and Seas of the Moon
On July 10, 11, and 12, 2024, at the San Lorenzo Astronomical Park in Casarano, visitors will explore the Moon during the First Quarter through telescopes. In addition to the Moon, Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter will also be visible, along with nebulae and double stars. The tour includes a visit to the Cosmonaut Museum with a fragment of lunar meteorite and shows in the 3D digital Planetarium.
